DM Frazier is an accomplished educator, and foreign-exchange liaison between Black diasporic communities across Asia, Africa, and America, who takes pride in providing valuable resources to underrepresented communities. DM studied Applied Communication at West Virginia University, and Mass Media at Al Akhawayn University in Morocco. After completing her studies in 2011, DM returned home to Oakland, CA, and began orchestrating scholarship committees, instructing youth tech classes, and coordinating affordable housing programs. DM was recognized by the Ronald McDonald House Charities organization for their extraordinary commitment to leveraging their Family Services program. In 2016, DM moved to Shenzhen, China to pursue artistic endeavors in film, education, and cultural curating. While in China she founded Afromote, an organization dedicated to supporting Black businesses and entrepreneurs. DM can also be credited with contributions to Black X, Black Livity, and EACE. DM enjoys collaborating with local artists and creating short films in their free time.
