Avery Zeus is a QTPOC Chef, and Event Producer born and raised in Detroit, MI. They moved to California in 2014 to complete Culinary School and expand the Event Planning business they started in Detroit.
After finishing the Culinary Program, Avery moved to the Bay Area where they collaborated with a friend to start Noir Chefs, a QTPOC owned Culinary Collective that provides Catering and Host Cooking Classes throughout the Bay Area. Avery is the in-house Chef for a Dual Diagnosis Residential Treatment Facility nonprofit organization in Hunters Point, SF. In 2019 Chef Avery launched a Vegan comfort food pop-up in Oakland. Their main focus is to provide healthy affordable meals in comfortable spaces for QTPOC folks to come together safely; eat some amazing food, and experience a beautiful community of QTPOC folks!
